When something doesn’t feel good, we think there’s something wrong with us. Our modern culture has separated us from our feelings and so we don’t know how to deal with our feelings much less the feelings of others.
Because of this we can quickly think there’s something wrong with us when we don’t feel good. We think we’re supposed to be happy all the time but it’s not true. We’re not supposed to be happy all the time. There’s nothing wrong with you if you’re grieving. Grief is our normal response to loss. It’s the way it’s supposed to be.
On today’s episode, we’ll talk about how to undo the thought that there’s something wrong with us.
Love, Julie
