Your grief over losing your child may leave you feeling depressed and anxious. You may also feel isolated and alone.
Because of your depression you may find yourself pulling away from people and the support you want.
You may feel that no one understands you. Feeling that way can be lonely too.
Even the way we think about situations can cause us pain.
It’s normal and natural to feel alone sometimes in your grief.
But remember you are not alone.
While nobody knows exactly how you feel, there are resources (like this podcast), people and especially God who can help you in your loneliness.
While you may feel lonely now, you can slowly take steps to reestablish connection.
More importantly, be your own best friend!
With Love, Julie
