Grief is work. It’s not just time that helps you to navigate grief, it takes effort too. Most people won’t tell you that. Most people will tell you to wait it out, you’ll feel better soon enough or they might even tell you that you can’t get over it, that you’ll have to live with the pain forever.
Who wants to live in pain the rest of their life? I sure didn’t and I refused to take that as a solution. I wanted answers and you probably do too. I’m glad you’re here because I’m not going to sugar coat it and tell you to wait around for things to get better. Sure, time helps and is part of the solution but it’s not all. You can definitely help your grief.
