Overwhelm is a common emotion and never more common than in grief because we are so filled with emotion. The overload of emotions leaves little room for the onslaught of activities and information in our world. Then we add thought errors that cause us to spin in perfectionism, pressure and expectations. It’s a recipe for disaster!
On today’s episode, we’re going to look deeper at these challenges that create overwhelm and then we’ll look at how to start tackling overwhelm.
I don’t think we’ll ever get rid of overwhelm completely but we can learn to recognize what’s going on so we can understand it better and start to manage it better. And the ultimate goal is to be in overwhelm far less often.
