Wayne Dyer said, “The more you extend kindness to yourself, the more it will become your automatic response to others.” What does extending kindness to yourself look like in grief? And how can you create more kindness in yourself for yourself?
We often think of kindness as an outer act toward others but when we learn to experience kindness internally, we change our experience not only with ourselves but with others also.
In July in the True Hope Club we practiced recreating joy in life again after loss. Joy is a muscle that atrophies during grief but it’s a muscle that can be rebuilt. In August our workshop is Freedom through Forgiveness. We answer the questions what is forgiveness, what is it not and how do we start to forgive others and ourself.
