The traditional 5 stages of grief suggest that we move through stages of denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.
You may experience grief as outlined in the 5 stages, but more than likely you may not and that’s ok.
Grief is less about stages and more about the roller coaster of emotions that accompany grief.
You may never know from one day to the next if you’ll be on the uphill, the downhill or the spin of the grief roller coaster.
In this episode, we talk about the 5 stages, what they are and what they aren’t.
I introduce the idea of levels of grief, some of the emotions you may experience and things to be aware of in your grief.
Love,
Julie
