Truly do your very best to choose hope despite your loss.
If we believe that we will always be mourning and that there is no way to move beyond the excruciating pain of loss we won’t look for hope.
If we believe that if we give up mourning we’ll be letting go of our child, we will be in a continuous state of mourning.
If we believe that we are honoring our child by holding a white-knuckled tight grip on raw grief, we will be desperate to hold tight to our grief.
Deep in my heart, I believe that we can honor our child, we can hold on to the best memories, we can love our child AND we can have hope for our future.
We can hope for purpose and joy.
I strongly believe that there is a beautiful life to live!
