Ep #63 Honoring Our Grief with Catherine Praiswater

julie cluff build a life after loss podcast, ep 63 honoring our grief with Catherine Praiswater

You’re going to love getting to know Catherine Praiswater. She takes us into her story and shares her gentle wisdom with us.
I love Catherine’s calm and gentleness.  She really emphasized our unique relationships and how that influences the way we grieve and mourn.
Catherine uses her unique interests and talents to honor her father and to take care of herself. I also loved how her faith and love informed her experience and her healing.
Catherine is the host of Your Positive Imprint, where she invites guests to share how they influence their communities and the world.
Catherine Praiswater is philosophical but also sentimental.  She was raised in a close-knit family with several siblings.  Life was spent in the outdoors camping, hiking, backpacking, traveling, fishing and singing songs around the campfire.
She has taught in primary education for many years as well as moderator for middle school student council.  During her years of teaching she involved students in important community and global issues through lobbying local and national politicians.
Catherine volunteers with numerous organizations including over ten years as a volunteer firefighter, and volunteers with animal, environmental and children’s organizations.
She and her husband live in New Mexico and enjoy mountain biking, photography, snorkeling, hiking, backpacking, camping, snowshoeing, traveling and movies.  The two of them are relished with delight when their dog can accompany them on their excursions.  Life is best in the outdoors with nature and my family.
Catherine is a dancer and has choreographed a tribute dance for her Dad’s birthday. You’ll hear all about her podcast and her dancing and so much more as she shares her story and the things that she’s learned with us today.

You can find Catherine at yourpositiveimprint.com.

This video is Catherine’s trailer for the tribute dance she did for her dad that she mentioned briefly in this episode. I’m inspired by her ability to use her talents to express herself.

Love,
Julie
