When we’re grieving it’s easy to feel like we’re falling short; falling short of others and our own expectations. Because we were able to handle things before in a certain way, we think we should still be able too. Accepting that grief requires our attention and a slowing down of previous commitments allows us to be gentle with ourselves during this season. In this episode, we’ll explore our thoughts around falling short and I’ll share an analogy that will be helpful for you to re-frame this experience.
Recently, I got this note from someone who just finished reading my book Miracles in the Darkness. “Wow! I love it! You did a wonderful job putting all that emotion and information into words. What a great resource for anyone dealing with any kind of loss.” I’m grateful to share this book with you and hope that it will be a resource of hope for you, your family, and friends.
