Ep #128 Believing in Yourself

Belief in self takes a big hit when you’re in pain. You may feel fear, anxiety, depression, discouragement, isolation and confusion. It may be costing you in your relationships, career, health and well-being. That’s what grief tends to do to you. It’s crushing and it shatters you.

Whatever you thought you knew about yourself and whatever you thought you knew about life, you’re not sure about any of it anymore. That was my experience too. The pain of grief puts a cloud over everything. Your vision is dimmed and askew.

Even if life seemed good and your path seemed clear before your loss, it’s likely that it doesn’t seem good or clear now. Even if you felt like you had the world by the tail and you were succeeding in relationships, career, health, etc before, grief can cause you to feel very unsure and confused. You may feel off balance. You may feel like you don’t even know what you want in life. This is all normal. It doesn’t feel good, but it’s normal.

In this episode, I share 7 questions to ask yourself to help you start to rebuild your  belief in yourself. Consider listening with a pen and paper and write down the questions so you can journal on these thought-provoking questions.

At the end of the episode, I have a special give away too.
